What’s It Like to Live Full-Time as a Crossdresser?

12/09/2025 - BY Mia

Some friends have told me they’re curious about my full-time crossdressing lifestyle. Honestly, there’s nothing strange about it. But since I’ve been living this way for a while now, I thought it might be a good time to share how it feels and what it means to me.

I’ve been crossdressing for 16 years. For most of that time, I only dressed after work and on weekends. But around two months ago, everything changed. I began living every single day fully dressed as a woman. Thanks to working from home and living alone, I finally had the freedom to live as my true self.

Living fully as a woman might sound exciting, but it takes a deep commitment. For me, it wasn’t scary—it felt natural. After so many years of crossdressing, not being in femme mode even for one day started to feel uncomfortable. So, embracing a 24/7 feminine life just made sense.

Saying goodbye to male clothes

Once I decided to go full-time, I packed away nearly all of my men’s clothes. My wardrobe now holds only women’s outfits and accessories. I also changed my room to look more like a girl’s bedroom. I shop for new clothes each season, adding more styles so I can dress for different moods and needs.

I often remind myself, “You are a woman now.” That mindset guides my behavior and choices every day. From my morning routine to the way I walk or speak—it all reflects the woman I choose to be.

My daily routine as a full-time crossdresser

Every day starts with removing my makeup from the night before, grooming any body hair, and doing a full skincare routine. This includes face masks, toners, exfoliants—you name it.

Then comes makeup. I change my style based on my mood, thanks to the makeup techniques I learned in school. After that, I choose my lingerie, attach my breast forms and gaff, and put on the outfit and shoes I want for the day.

I work from home, but I still go out—to the supermarket, to shop, or just for a walk. I always check and touch up my makeup before heading out. Sometimes, I’ll even switch to a different outfit if I want a new look.

Going outside with confidence

Living full-time in MTF transformation mode means staying in character, even in public. I remind myself of my female identity and walk with confidence. I wear panty liners daily—they’re comfy and reinforce that feminine feeling.

I’ve been training my feminine walk and voice. Since I studied vocal music before, learning to speak like a girl wasn’t too hard. I even use the women’s restroom when I go out, and I sit in a completely feminine way. These things felt strange at first, but now they’re just part of my life.

After wearing heels outside, I often switch to flats or slippers at home to rest my feet. It’s the little things that make a difference.

Staying feminine even at night

At night, I don’t stop being a woman. In the winter, I sleep wearing pantyhose, shapewear, and a nightdress. This keeps me warm and helps me wake up still feeling feminine. My bath products are all for women now, too.

My social life and decisions

When I shop in women’s clothing stores, I do it proudly. Trying on outfits feels natural. Most of my social time is spent with CD sisters or female friends who support me. If I go to a gathering with male friends, I may wear men’s clothes outside—but I always wear panties and stockings underneath. As soon as I get home, it’s back to full femme mode.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about taking hormones, like feminizing supplements. But they’re a double-edged sword, so I’m starting by growing my hair longer and focusing on natural changes.

How long will I live like this?

I don’t have a clear answer. Maybe for a very long time. Ever since the first time I crossdressed 16 years ago, a girl has lived inside me. Now, I finally let her out—and I don’t plan to stop.

Conclusion

Living full-time as a crossdresser is more than just a look—it’s a lifestyle and a mindset. For me, it brings peace, joy, and freedom. If you feel the same way deep inside, don’t be afraid. Your happiness matters, and your journey is valid.
