Hot Trans Girl Summer: 6 Practical Tips To Help You Slay All Summer Long
I remember the summer after I went through my MTF transition and how excited I was. For the first time in my life, I felt like a true woman and I couldn’t wait to have my hot trans girl summer.

However, I was super unprepared and since I didn’t have a community around me, there was no one to guide me. Luckily, I went through all that so that you don’t have to.
So today I’ll share with you my hot trans girl summer tips and how you can use them to slay all summer long. Let’s dive in.
1. Build Your Hot Trans Girl Summer Routine
They say that Rome wasn’t built in a day, but I never really liked that phrase. This is mostly because our habits and outcomes are determined by our daily routines. So if you want to have your hot trans girl summer, there are four rules that you need to follow every single day.

Rule number one: Skip the rush. It’s time to lean into your feminine energy by moving slowly and being more intentional. Summer is the perfect excuse to have slow, lazy mornings where you can roll out of bed, sip your iced coffee and do a few feminizing workouts. Then it’s time for rule number 2.
Rule number 2: Go hairless. Nothing screams feminine more than smooth, hairless skin. Plus the less hair you have, the less sticky you’ll be when you sweat. If you’re naturally hairy like me, I’d advise you to check out some tips on how to remove body hair. Also, don’t forget to apply lotion on your body when you’re done shaving so that you soothe the irritation and keep your skin soft and smooth.

Rule number 3: Bring out your summer perfume and fragrances. If there’s a perfect time to invest in that perfume you’ve been eyeing, it’s summer. That’s because you’ll need it more, especially if you’ll be spending your days outside. If you want your perfume to last longer, remember to spray it on your inner wrists, your inner thighs and behind your ears.
Rule number 4: Don’t forget your shimmer oil and lip gloss. You don’t want to be the trans girl at the party with chapped lips because of the heat. So always carry a lip gloss or two in your bag. If you’re a little extra like me and love being the centre of attention, you can also get some shimmer oil that will make your skin glow and make you look like a goddess.

2. Learn How To Tuck Without Overheating
Now that you’ve got your daily routine on check, it’s time to learn how to properly tuck during summer.
I know that many trans girls struggle with this because it’s so hot and you feel like it’s impossible to tuck because of the heat. That’s why you should do things a little bit differently.
If you try using tucking tape, you might feel uncomfortable throughout the day and when you sweat, the tape can become loose. So I recommend that you ditch that option for now and go for gaff & tucking panties.

Basically, these are special panties that are designed to feminize your bikini area and smooth it out. Plus, you can find really sexy ones made from breathable fabric like polyester and wear them as your bikini bottom. If you’ll be swimming, try and avoid the cotton ones since they will soak up water and get heavy really quickly.
3. Hot Girl Hygiene: What Every Trans Babe Needs in Her Bag
As trans women, we know how important hygiene is and that’s why most of us shower twice a day in summer, but you’re gonna need a little bit more than that.

If you’ve not yet gone through Hormone replacement therapy (it’s okay if you don’t want to), you probably know how testosterone can make us sweat like a waterfall. So, how can you handle this?
By staying prepared.
Some of the things I carry in my bag are:
- Baby powder: You can carry regular powder, but I prefer baby powder because it keeps my skin dry and super smooth. Plus, you can use it on your armpits, feet, inner thighs and even on your privates.
- Sweat Creams: I just discovered these last summer and they’ve been a game-changer for me. These creams are perfect, especially if you’re in public and want something more discreet than baby powder. But before you apply the cream on your face or armpits, I’d advise you to try a small portion on your hand just to make sure you won’t react badly to it.

- Cotton Handkerchief: You can use it to wipe off sweat and since cotton absorbs moisture super well it will leave you dry. Just make sure to have 2-3 in your bag if you’ll be out all day.
Lastly, carry a water bottle with you everywhere you go so you remember to hydrate. The more water you drink, the less stinky your sweat will be and you’ll smell fresh all day long, even when you sweat.
4. Learn How To Handle Stares at Public Pools and Beaches

Trust me, I know how nerve-wrecking it is to wear your first bikini in public as a trans woman. If you’re wearing a cover-up, it takes a couple of deep breaths and pep talks before you let it go and sunbathe in your bathing suit.
So it’s super okay to feel self-conscious. There’s nothing wrong with you and many trans women have felt that too. But the real question is, how do you handle the stares from strangers?
Before I answer that, let’s start by dissecting the meaning of those stares. Here are the possible options:

1. They are jealous of you. Did you ever consider that some people are staring because they wish they had your confidence to wear a bikini in public? That should be your confidence boost because you’re stepping out of your comfort zone and doing something many are afraid to do.
2. They are trying to understand you. Since most people are seeing you for the first time, they might be confused and trying to understand if you are a man or a woman. Meaning it’s simple curiosity. But this doesn’t mean you owe them an explanation. So just go on relaxing and enjoying the sun like the queen you are.
3. They are being judgy, but that’s on them and isn’t your problem. Unfortunately, some people might stare at with judgment, but that’s not a reflection of who you are. You are allowed to fully express yourself and your femininity. The best thing to do is to ignore them and not try to engage or talk to them.

At the end of the day, hot trans girl summer is about you so you don’t have to dim your light and shy away from rocking a bikini because of other people.
5. Glow from the Inside Out
You’ve probably heard the saying, ‘confidence is the sexiest thing that you can wear.’ And as a trans woman, this is 100% true.
It doesn’t matter if you are rocking the most flawless sissy makeup or the sexiest dress, if you don’t feel good inside, it will instantly show.

So this summer, I want you to reclaim your power and your confidence.
The first step to doing this is taking care of your mental health. This is a topic that isn’t talked about enough, but together, we can change that. Summer can come with its fair share of challenges and trigger issues like gender dysphoria. And the best way to overcome these blues is by talking to someone who understands. Luckily, you can find these people in our LGBTQ+ communities.

It’s okay to feel emotional, confused, or even scared. Just remember that it gets better and each summer you’ll feel more confident. Soon enough, you’ll feel more in tune with your body and your mind.
6. End Your Day With These Hot Trans Girl Affirmations
The last tip that will help you slay your summer is affirmations that remind you of your beauty, your worth and your divine essence. Sometimes, all we need to brighten our days and build a strong mindset is affirmations, so here are some you can use.

‘I am beautiful just the way I am.’
‘I take up space and I’m unapologetic about who I am.’
‘I am in my divine feminine energy’
‘I don’t compare myself to others because there’s only one me’
‘I love my body and I embrace my feminine essence’
Conclusion
