Because a male body will naturally store excess weight in different places than a woman’s, weight loss and control are really importantSticking to a healthy diet is also paramount.  Say goodbye to greasy pizzas and fast food, cut out all those fattening carbs, and stop drinking sodas.  Adopting a diet built around greens and proteins can help you shed pounds quickly.  Once you’ve hit a target weight, keep it stable for a few months before trying to go lower.  Once you’ve reached your final target, you should be aiming to keep it for 6 months to a year to internalize it as how you unconsciously see yourself.

In terms of exercise, you’re going to want to concentrate on workouts that burn fat, but don’t build up a great deal of muscle.  Going for long walks is a good idea here, try to aim for about 15,000 steps a day, with at least half of them at a brisk paceSwimming is also an excellent idea.  Any weight lifting should be done with lower weights and more reps to tone your muscles instead of bulking them up.  The only area where you should be trying to build muscle is your behind; squats are going to be very important.  Do as many squats as you can do each and every day.  Planks will also help you keep your tummy flat without developing a six pack.  Being able to do all of this in some sexy gym clothes, some high waisted leggings, and a sports bra should be motivation enough.
